Jesus said, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5 The Water is the Word of God. We were or still are, wells without water. Clouds that are or were carried with a tempest; Having or had eyes full of adultery, and that could not cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: hearts exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: Forsaking the right way. Feeding ourselves with the lusts of the flesh without fear: clouds we are or were without water, carried about by the winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. God would have that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive. But speaking the truth in love, growing up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: The Word which was made flesh, and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth. Jesus Christ the Way the Truth and the Life. Jesus said, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. The living water. Drinketh of this water and thou shall never thirst; a well of water springing up into everlasting life. Sanctifying and cleansing us with the washing of water by the word, A glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. The pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. (Jud 1:12; 2Pe 2:14, 17; Eph 4:14-15; Joh 1:14; 3:5; 4:10-15;Eph 5:26-27; Heb 10:22; Rev 22:1, 17 )
We need to believe the Word is nigh unto us, in our hearts and in our minds that we may do it. We need to believe that God has written his Laws in our hearts and in our minds; so that out of our heart we speak and do according to his will, through the Faith that He established in us through Christ.
In James 1:18 God says, Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Paul writes through The Spirit in Colossians, "Having put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge, after the image of him that created him. Therefore he reasons, put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds".
This is what James is alluding to. That we should be a kind of first fruits of His creatures. Please lesson carefully as we continue in James 1:21, "lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word."
The engrafted Word, His commandants written in the heart and mind, the Law of Liberty. The Law of freedom, freedom from the slavery of sin through the engrafted Word. For God had said through Jesus, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant ( the sinner) abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8:34-36

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

For He has said, the Word is nigh thee (engrafted) in thy mouth and thy heart that we may do it This is which is able to save your souls. Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass, but forgot  what manner man he was. Which is now the new man which is after the image of Him who created him, of His own will begat He us to do by nature the things contained in the law, showing the work of the law written in our hearts, being partakers of His divine nature. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, that which is begotten of him, the new man after the image of him that created him. The first fruit of His creatures, renewed, the law, His Word engrafted in the heart and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. (Col 3:8-10;Rom 2:14-15; 2Pe 1:3,4; Jas 1:18, 21-25; Heb 8:10 Rom 8:10 KJV)

I John 4 and God's Love

God is love.
In this (the very next statement) is the love of God manifested in us, because God has sent His only-begotten Son into the world, so that we should live through Him.
In other words the Love that is of God, the love that He exhibits is manifested, rendered apparent, or mind you seen through us because God has sent His only begotten son into the world that we may live through Him. So Have faith and start living. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be a covering around our sins. A coving around our sins. He keep us from them. He was manifested to take away our sins (1Jo 3:5), save us from them by us living through Him. That is the covering, the propitiation. Because in him is no sin and if we are in Him we are separated from our sin. For the wages of sin, the fruit, the end result is death, but in Him we have life, a life full of and in harmony with His love and joy. So love one another. Enter into the joy of the Lord, that your joy may be full. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love being perfected is in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because of His Spirit, His Love, the ability to live in harmony one with Him. For God is love, and the one abiding in love abides in God, and God in him. By this, love has been perfected within us, that we have confidence in the day of judgment, that as He is, we are also in this world.

A study in Romans 6,7 and 8

Here are some thoughts on Romans 6 as I studied this out yesterday and this morning. God says we are Dead to sin. This is to be the state of a professing Christian. If you are dead sin; It is impossible for you to do it; is what the language suggests. This is what we are to believe of ourselves through Christ. Our faith enables us to live as such. Baptized into His death our old man was crucified, put to death with Him. It is a done deal, praise God for he that is dead in Christ is dead to sin, but alive unto God through Christ. Raised up from the dead in Christ by the glory of the Father to walk in newness of life through Him. Paul said through God Let not sin therefore reign in our mortal body, sin shall not have dominion over us. We are no longer slaves to Sin through Grace, God’s favor. Jesus has set us free and free we are indeed. He goes on to say to the church in Rome, that they have obeyed from the heart the doctrine that was delivered them, But having been set free from sin, you were enslaved to righteousness. We are freed from sin and slaves to God and His righteousness. Now having Fruit unto holiness and at the end everlasting life. Delivered from the body of sin that it be destroyed. That hence forth we no longer serve sin because it is no longer part of us. For He was manifested to take away our sins, by His stripes we were healed. So be healed and go and sin no more. For He has given us all things pertaining unto life and godliness. The Law, His Word, Christ written on our hearts. So we are without excuse. So with that being said Paul now approaches it from another angle in the beginning of chapter 7. Please keep mind that according to the Word of God, we are dead to sin and alive unto God. In Christ we are a new creature, old things have past away, behold all things are new and of God. As James wrote Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruit or first of his creatures. Having received with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save our souls. Being doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving our own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass ( our reflection, our new nature, the new creature with the engrafted word, the first fruit, the first of His creatures) : For if we are a hearer and not a doer we beholdeth our self, (our new nature created in Christ Jesus) and goeth our way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man we were, What we have received, what we now are through the Gospel in Christ. As Paul continues into Chapter 7 this is what I received as I read it. Know ye not, how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? Wherefore, , we also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that we should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we bring forth fruit unto God. For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones and they two (Jesus and us) shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I (God through Paul) speak concerning Christ and the church. For when we were in our flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now we are delivered from the law because as God through Paul pointed out, we have been freed from sin through the death of Jesus Christ and free we are indeed. With that being said, there is no need for a law because we are not law breakers through our baptism into Jesus. As God through Paul wrote. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? The Law, God’s Word, the Decalogue , all that was written that pertains to morality. Was to bring us to Faith, to Christ. Show us our need. That sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. So it is no more a matter of obedience but of adherence to what we are in Him. We can’t help ourselves due to the Faith He has placed in us. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel ( those who would stand with God) after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their minds, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: A New creature. whoso looketh into this perfect law of liberty, beholding his now natural face in a glass; which is through Jesus and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. By His stripes we have been healed. In Jesus we are fitly framed together, a holy temple in the Lord. A habitation of God through the Spirit. Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. But before faith ( the engrafted word of God in our hearts and minds) came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified (made righteous) by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. For we are all one in Christ. A building fitly framed together, for obedience to the faith among all, for his name: We are the called of Jesus Christ: Therefore Be not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, the Kingdom of God in and through you: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just (the righteous) shall live by faith. For the Word is nigh thee in thy mouth and in thy heart, that thou may do it; that is the word of Faith that we preach. For we are dead nevertheless we live, but not us , but Christ liveth in us and the life we now live in the flesh we live by the Faith of Jesus Christ. He in us, and God in Him, that we may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent Jesus, and that our Father God hast loved us, as He hast loved Jesus. So serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. We are Christ’s letter, not having been inscribed by ink, but by the Spirit of the living God, not in tablets of stone, but in fleshly tablets of the heart. Engrafted, to the saving of the soul. And we have such confidence through Christ toward God; not that we are sufficient of ourselves to reason out anything as being out of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God, For it is He that worketh in us both to will and do His good pleasure, He doeth the work. He who also made us able ministers of a new covenant, not of letter, but of Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit makes alive. But if the ministry of death having been engraved in letters in stone came to be in glory, so as that the sons of Israel could not gaze into the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, which was to be caused to cease, how much rather the ministry of the Spirit will be in glory! He has led our captivity to sin, Captive through the Body of Christ. That is the mystery of godliness, Christ in us the hope of Glory. (Rom 7:1-14; 2Co 3:3-8; Eph 5:29-32; Jas 1:18-24; Gal 3:21-27; Rom 1:5-6, 16-17; Joh 17:23; Heb 8:10; 2Co 5:21; Jas 1:25; Eph 2:21-22 )

Salvation is release from the bondage of sin.

Salvation is release from the bondage of sin. Eternal life in Heaven and the New Earth is the end result for those who receive and use the Gift. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. ..... John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. For ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Therefore Jesus said, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant, the sinner abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. And whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. (Mat 1:21; Joh 1:29; 1Jn 3:5; Joh 8:32-36;Rom 6:16-18,8:15-16;1Jn 5:4 )
