For by Grace we are saved

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (Eph 2:8 KJV) The Faith is not of ourselves it is the gift of God through Christ. Did you notice that I did not say our faith? For there is, "One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." (Eph 4:5-6 KJV) One Faith. Here follow along as Paul unfolds this concept in Gal 2:16. Knowing that a man is not justified (rendered or made righteous) by the works of the Law; but through the faith of Jesus Christ. We also believed into Christ Jesus, that we might be justified (rendered or made righteous) by the faith of Christ and not by the works of the Law; for by the works of the Law no flesh shall be justified. With Christ have I been crucified, yet I am living; no longer I, but living in me is Christ. Now that which I am now living in flesh, I am living in faith that is of the Son of God, Who loves me, and gives Himself up for me." (Gal 2:20 CLV) John shared in his Gospel this part of Jesus’ prayer, “ And I do not ask concerning these only, but also concerning the ones who will believe into Me through their word.” (17:20 KJ3) We are made righteous because we are part of The Body of Christ, the Temple of God. Through God's Spirit we believed ourselves into Christ. Because we are in Christ and Him in us, we share in, partake of His divine nature. Therefore we have the Faith of Jesus. His Faith, The Faith He has, we now have available to us through God’s Spirit. It is this active faith in and through us that make us, renders us righteous. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. Even as is a direct comparison. We are made righteous the same way Jesus is and was. Through God's Spirit. For there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, the One above all and through all and in you all. And it is He that worketh in us both to will and do His good pleasure. As Jesus said, “He doeth the work.” (1Jn 3:7 kjv; Eph 4:5,6 KJ3]

  1. "For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous." Rom. 2:13
